Polycom RealPresence Desktop is a powerful, enterprise-grade collaboration app that extends video communications beyond the typical conference room setting to mobile professionals. Desktop video collaboration is as simple as glancing at a presence icon and clicking the name. RealPresence Desktop combines quality, power and ease-of-use with industry-leading interoperability, and security that is both cost effective, and highly scalable.

RealPresence Desktop allows you to send HD content to all participants; from desktop to immersive experience rooms. Polycom SmartPairing^TM connects your PC to your room system. Once connected, use RealPresence Desktop to search the room system directory and place calls. You can share a presentation, spreadsheet, or pictures without ever reaching for a remote control or digging for just the right type of computer cable or adapter.

RealPresence Desktop for Mac OS
Face to face communications with person or group using a system conforming to International videoconferencing standards. Share powerful graphics from your Apple computer or laptop. Lion (10.7), Mountain Lion (10.8), or Mavericks (10.9) is recommended.

RealPresence Desktop for Windows
Face to face communications with person or group using a system conforming to International videoconferencing standards. Share data directly from your PC or laptop. Windows 7 SP3, Windows XP SP3 32-bit, Windows 8, Pro, Enterprise; 32-bit and 64-bit are recommended. Polycom RealPresence Resource Manager or Polycom CMA series management includes connectivity with Microsoft Active Directory.

Broad Interoperability and Scale
Like the entire Polycom RealPresence portfolio, RealPresence Desktop will interoperate with your existing collaboration investments, such as standards-based video applications, endpoints and immersive room systems. Backwards compatibility with previous software offerings for presence and instant message allows seamless interoperability and migration to the latest software. Supports small deployments on a few desktops to an enterprise-wide solution for 10,000 users when connected to the Polycom RealPresence Platform.
